Compu-Aid, Inc. was started in Miami in 1984 by Joan Henderson and moved to Boca Raton in 1994. Initially our firm concentrated on offering software training and technical support services. We have continued with that tradition and feel that a well-trained staff provides on-going economic benefit to a company. Over the years our scope has expanded to include software sales as well as programming services. We have clients throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Our goal is to provide a customized solution for our clients' software, programming and technical support requirements.
Joan Henderson, President, founded Compu-Aid, Inc. in 1984 as a computer software training organization. Joan has over 25 years experience in designing and implementing application software training programs for a variety of industries, such as:

Conducting law office automation seminars for Nova Southeastern University
Occupational training classes for Miami-Dade Community College
In addition to experience in the teaching profession, Joan also has several years of corporate and government experience. She is a Certified Consultant for Timeslips as well as an Authorized Dealer and installer for Open Systems and Traverse Accounting Software.
Richard Caird, Programming Specialist, has over 35 years experience in software development and project management. Prior to joining Compu-Aid, Richard had spent most of his career at IBM in a variety of software development and management roles. This strong corporate background provides Rick with versatility and a depth of experience covering many different development languages and platforms. He is currently working in Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, SQL, MySQL. Rick also has the capability of working in other programming languages if required.
